Actor Sonu Sood gained a lot of new fans and followers for his philanthropic activities and providing help during the Covid-19 pandemic. The actor is known for his humble and down-to-earth nature which is visible in the way he interacts with common people.
The 49-year-old shared a video Monday on Twitter showing his interaction with a corn seller on the road. Sood was proceeding towards Sissu from Manali in Himachal Pradesh. The actor bought corn from a man from UP who had set up a stall on the roadside. The corn seller’s name was Shesh Prakash Nishad and he told Sood that he is from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. He told Sood that he sells bhutta (corn) for Rs 50 each and manages to sell a sack of 100 corns every day.
Sharing more about his family, Nishad said he has four brothers and one sister. When Sood got to know that he isn’t married, he exhorted people who are looking for a groom to send him a match as he is hardworking. In the end, Sood asked him to give corn to him and his entire team.

Since being posted, the video has received more than 3.90 lakh views.
